Fortran?

I wrote my first program in FORTRAN. And guess what it is my classic new language test: Turbo Wieszcz (too bad it is Polish only). Github: monstergdc/TurboWieszcz-Fortran

GitHub page is set

And it's here: monstergdc. Two repositories so far: Turbo Wieszcz ++ in Python (!), and some of my old but cool Delphi components (more is to come).

GitHub

Another "historical" day: 2017.10.10. Today I created my account on GitHub. As I have warned someone, I'm going to open source some stuff. Soon, I hope. Probably Turbo Wieszcz is going to be the first. Also on the sidenote I'm becoming quite fond of Lazarus. It's cool when one wants to go crossplatform. I've used it before to compile code for ARM/Android. But now it is even easier and works well also on Rapsberry Pi for example. That means there will be Turbo Wieszcz for Linux/Raspberry PI soon. :) Currently managed to migrate T.W. to Lazarus: it compiles and it works. But has some issues yet.

Raspberry PI

Waited some time for this moment. Got Raspberry PI from work. Had weird dellusion that monitor's HDMI is bigger than PI's. Let this still be remembered as the first Raspberry PI day. Raspbian installed. First attempt at Qt application successful. Even ZX Spectrum emulator works.
Different subject: got some archaic Mac. box, heavy as hell. I wonder, when will I have the time to check it out.

Tensorflow

Let this day be remembered as the day when I first installed Tensorflow.
20170504 update: I still hate Python. So I'm going with OpenNN... that one seems really neat. Cough-meter prototype / proof of concept starts kind of working.
Different topic. Just Installed VS2017. Apparently comes with Unity! So revisited. C# programmable. At least easy. Made a scene with mouse/cursor control and some rotating object. There will be games or stuff.
20170509 update: Updated Unity. Has some cool examples. Wow!

More on the nostalgic note

I just realized, Giana Sisters for C-64 is already 30 years old. It has (c)1987 in it! :)

Just some quick memos to myself

Yesterday I had my 44th birthday, today I had my 1st run with vs2017, and also 1st ever real life encounter with software FFT. Neat. The other thing is that nowadays it is easier/quicker to just download the movie than to look for its copy on an unplugged hard drive. What's more... Predator that I just watched N-th time is now 30 years old. Also... now I mostly watch movies after watching their "making of...".
